Really impressed with the service, delivery and quality of the cake.

Had a cake for my daughter’s 21st half chocolate half vinilla, it was delicious, fantastic service, cake so moist.
definitely would use again

Delivery next day when you order before 2 pm is not true as they rely on a third company. Our order arrived 3 working days later. Disappointing if it’s a surprise for an anniversary. If we would have known we would have arranged something else.

I had a very disappointing experience when my grandsons birthday cake did not arrive on time, however, I have just been contacted by the manager and I feel a lot better about this situation and have empathy for them as a small business. The company have kindly refunded my payment.

I phoned bakerdays to make a change in regard to the type of sponge cake, and they changed this with no added cost. I then had to contact them again 24 hours before the birthday cake was to be delivered, as we had to cancel the party suddenly. They were very polite and helpful and offered to postpone the delivery until we were able to make another arrangement.
This was later arranged 2 days before Christmas. It arrived on time and was very much enjoyed by my family. Thank you!

I ordered two cakes. One for cricket and the other for rugby. The cricket one is fine. The rugby one is rubbish. The picture is out of focus and not worth the amount of money that I paid for it I would like a refund. Due to the useless website, I had to place two separate orders that were sent in the same box. I would like a refund for the postage thank you. The delivery company is a joke they left the box in a safe and secure place. On our doorstep in full view of everyone passing. They did not bother to ring the bell. We were both at home when they arrived. I received an email telling me that the cakes were coming by DPD. They at least ring the bell. But then it was sent by DX.

I had one of their letterbox cakes sent to me, and I thought what a lovely idea. I have since several to friends and family. The service and delivery have been faultless. All recipients have been so pleased with their gifts, and one said she just sat looking at the cake as too nice to cut!

Wish i hadnt bothered ordering a cake. It was a surprise for my sons 30th birthday. After several e-mails i was assured it would turn up but it didnt, so happy birthday NO CAKE !!! Complete waste of money as well as the upset it caused me chasing the order.
I complained the next day TWICE by e-mail, they didnt even bother to respond !! If your thinking of ordering a cake PLEASE dont do it !

Such a terrible experience with Bakerdays. I had ordered a cake for my son's 4th Birthday. Ordered for delivery on 16th December for his party on Sunday 18th. Received a text from the delivery company stating it would be now be delivered on Monday which was no good. I called Baker days Friday afternoon. They called me back and assured me that the cake would be delivered Saturday. Saturday came and no cake arrived. So I had a last minute dash to Asda to get a store cake. I have now sent 2 follow up emails and a call to get my money back and they are yet to respond. They try to blame the delivery company which is one thing but their lack of communication is inexcusable. I will be following up with this as it's totally unacceptable. Please don't risk a special occasion on this company. Use a local bakery or store cake to give you peace of mind. Terrible service.

Diabolical service. Ruined a surprize day and couldn't be bothered about it. The delivery company delivered on the correct day, to the correct house, but as they couldn't be bothered knocking on the door, left the package in a recycling bin, on recycling day. Clever eh? (Said that the recipient signed for it yet photo they sent, only after long enquiries by the way, not at the time, clearly shows it in the bin, so a bit light on the truth there.) So contacted both the delivery company and Bakerdays and they genuinely couldn't give a monkeys. Money and cakes gone. Bet the binmen ate well. Turns out from the comments that this happens a lot. Get a new delivery company, they reflect on you. Awaiting a "sorry you're upset" reply to this post. If you were sorry you'd of helped at the time. Good luck getting through to them also. Hard work.

I'm from the Philippines. I ordered a cake for my partner who lives the UK for our special day since we're apart. I was really hesitant at first cause it might be a scam. Although, it's not just a legit company but they provide excellent service. They assured me that my order will be delivered on that exact day. Actually, that was enough for me. However, they exceeded my expectation! The cake didn't just come today but it even arrived way too early than my expected delivery time. (Delivery time was between 11AM-6PM, it arrived at past 9 AM!) My partner was so surprised and so happy! It was a success! You guys don't know how grateful I am of your service! Kudos to your company and the courier. ♥️

I ordered a cake for my husband's 65th birthday party and I was not disappointed. The design, personal wording and colours were perfection. I had to email a change after placing the order but I was emailed back promptly and reassured that the cake would be exactly as I had requested. And it was. The sponge was delicious and all our party guests loved it so much that there was none left over. It arrived on the date that I requested and was so well packaged. Thank you Bakerdays Team. I ordered birthday brownies for my daughter - they arrived on time and she was delighted. She said they were really cute. They fit through a letterbox so you don't have to worry about them being taken back to the delivery office. There are lots of options for personalisation and different designs. I really like the website and the telephone customer service was great.

Have used bakerdays a few times and love their tasty cakes. Unfortunately our cake arrived late probably due to postal strikes. However customer service were very understanding at our disappointment and a free cake was promised for another occasion which we have just received so thank you bakerdays ?

I live abroad but have friends and family in Scotland. I have regularly used this fantastic company to send personalised cakes for various events including an 80th birthday, diamond wedding anniversary and recently for Halloween with cupcakes and brownies. On every occasion the online order, free courier delivery, quality of product and communication has been first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and shall use again. Any photographs reproduced on the cakes have been done expertly and with high grade definition. Big thanks to this great company!
